Drove about all day checkin out all the spots to no avail so resorted to camp site to rig the tent. Decided to venture down to seafront as it felt as though the wind had picked up and it was. Blowing around `8knots on the beach so quckly rigged my 6.3 and 100 litre Mistral and got out there.
By the time I was on the water it was half 6 and the wind was dying down rapidly. Had a few fast runs and then the wind droped completely. Couldnt even waterstart and had no uphaul rope so looked like swimming to the shoreline and doing a big walk of sha,me but then it suddenly picked up again and I messed around for an hour or so gettin some fast runs in jumping some of the smallish waves. Good to get out at a new spot when it was unexopected
